17 April, 2016 — UARCTIC CONGRESS 2016: DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION

The UArctic Congress — Science Section includes high-level keynote speakers and parallel sessions on topical Arctic issues focusing on five selected themes identified in the ICARP III (International Congress on Arctic Research Planning) statement.

The Congress themes are:

• Vulnerability of Arctic Environments
• Vulnerability of Arctic Societies
• Local and traditional knowledge
• Building long-term human capacity
• New markets for the Arctic, including trade, tourism and transportation

These themes will be presented in keynote presentations and discussed in parallel sessions. Please, find here THE LIST OF SESSIONS.

The abstracts submitted must be in English. Abstracts accepted for the congress will be published on-line on the congress website. 
Deadline for abstract submissions is April 17, 2016 (midnight CET).
